The Annual Awards are approaching, when you have the chance to ensure that deserving people in the community obtain the recognition of the whole community.

It really makes a difference to be thanked with an award and this is your opportunity to ensure our community recognises its outstanding members.

We are now incorporating Apprentice/Trainee Awards, which were previously held as a separate event.

Use the links below to submit a nomination online, or download a nomination form. Please fill out the nomination forms and add extra information about the person or people that you are proposing. 

This year’s Awards Night was held on Tuesday 24th May 6.30pm for 7pm at the Galston Club, Galston.

 Nominations are invited for our Community Awards in the following categories for businesses and individuals working or living in the area (Berowra Waters, Berrilee, Arcadia, Fiddletown, Galston, Middle Dural, Glenorie, Hillside, Forest Glen, Canoelands):

The Rotary Club require the following details:

The full name, address, telephone number and email of the person you are nominating.

Why have you nominated this person or this business for an award?

How have they improved their business? 

Why is their customer service so good? 

How long have they been involved in community or charity work?

What is this work? 

Tell us why and how these people stand out from others in their field

 

The general categories are:

1. SMALL BUSINESS AWARD

For outstanding businesses or employees

 

  

2. PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP AWARD

For excellence in workmanship.

 

3. COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

For outstanding personal achievement.

 

4. YOUTH AWARD

For outstanding personal achievement.

 

5. QUIET ACHIEVER AWARD

 

  

An additional award, the ROD TALLIS MEMORIAL PRIZE, will also be presented on the night for the student achieving the highest marks in the Ryde School of Horticulture three year Nursery Trade Course.

 

The Apprentice/Trainee categories (Apprentice, Trainee, Mature Age Apprentice, Mature Age Trainee) are:

1. The Most Improved Apprentice/Trainee for 2010

 

  

2. Outstanding Personal Achievement for an Apprentice/Trainee

 

 

3. Community Service by an Apprentice/Trainee.

 

 

4. Quiet Achiever
